On the morning of October 28th, the first Outdoor Down Jacket exhibition and sales fair of 2025 China Shangqiu "Tongda" Cup was grandly opened at Wuyue Square. Ding Xiangdong, the Secretary of the Suiyang District Committee, announced the start of the exhibition and sales fair. It serves not only as a window to showcase the development trend of "technology + fashion + green" in the outdoor down jacket industry, but also as a carrier to promote supply and demand matching and deepen industry cooperation. In recent years, Suiyang District has been committed to cultivating the down jacket industry as an advantageous and people-enriching industry. It has formulated ten measures for the cluster development of the down jacket industry, explored and implemented the development model of "enterprise + common prosperity workshop + farmers", established an industry association, and carried out school-local cooperation with universities such as Shangqiu Normal University and Shangqiu Institute of Technology. It has emphasized design, innovation and brand cultivation. The industrial scale and product quality have been continuously improving, and the industry influence has been steadily increasing. It has cultivated over 100 key enterprises such as Dongxia Clothing and Jihang Clothing, created self-owned brands like "Jihang" and "Tongda", applied for 136 patents, and formed a complete industrial chain from fabric research and development, intelligent production to brand marketing. The annual output of outdoor clothing exceeds 30 million pieces, with an annual output value exceeding 3 billion yuan, making it one of the national production bases for down jackets.
Through this exhibition and sales fair, Suiyang District will work with the participating enterprises to jointly build an exchange platform for down jackets, promoting breakthroughs in areas such as technological fabrics, original designs, intelligent manufacturing, industry standards, and quality brands, and accelerating the transformation and development of the down jacket industrial cluster towards technology, originality, fashion, and branding.
